Congratulations to Fiona & Moray, I recently shot their wedding at Debden Church in Essex, followed by their reception at the stunning Longstowe Hall near Cambridge.
Photos kicked off at Fiona’s mums house in Debden, a busy morning with lots of breakfast/hair/make-up wedding photo opportunities. It was then only a short drive into the local village for the church ceremony, and with Moray being Scottish, I was greeted with sights of kilts and sounds of bagpipes. There are certain wedding photos I always like to capture as a wedding photographer; the bride looking back at her dad before they enter the church, and the first time the groom sees the bride. Both examples included in this gallery, and both crackers!
It was then a 40 min drive to Longstowe Hall, Cambridge, which gave me some time to get ahead of Fiona & Moray, allowing me to capture some great photos of them arriving in their convertible car. Longstowe Hall has to be one of the most impressive wedding venues in the local area, I was spoilt for choice when it came to spending half an hour photographing Fiona & Moray in the gardens. I look forward to shooting an Autumn wedding here in the future, the grounds/trees really are spectacular!
Haggis and drinks were followed by lively speeches and Scottish dancing, a great wedding day that reminds me why I enjoy being a wedding photographer so much.
